Electroplating diamond roller:
The manufacturing process is simple,cycle is short and cost is low.Therefore, it is used when the precision of the workpiece is not high,because the particle size of diamond with the same particle size cannot be absolutely consistent,so the envelope of the outer circular contour of diamond plated by this method cannot be consistent with the original contour of the matrix,and secondly,it is difficult to achieve the metal deposition rate of the matrix to be completely consistent.
Sintering diamond roller is suitable for machining high-precision workpieces in large quantities and dressing various kinds of high-hardness grinding wheels.Generally,the CNC track diamond-like roller must be manufactured by sintering.It has good wear resistance and strength because its binder USES tungsten carbide as skeleton material and cobalt as bonding material.
1、The grit of diamond roller should be one size larger than that of the dressed grinding wheel.
2、When the roller is in use,the steering direction is opposite to that of the grinding wheel(the direction of linear velocity is the same).The ratio of linear velocity between the roller and the grinding wheel should be kept within 0.3-0.6 as far as possible,and the rotation speed should avoid a multiple relationship.
3、In the process of dressing the grinding wheel,the roller is not allqwed to have impact with the grinding wheel.The single dressing amount can be adjusted within 0.02-0.04mm depending on the factors such as rough or fine repair,the type of grinding wheel and the number of workpieces processed after each dressing.
4、When dressing the grinding wheel,the operating procedures of fast forward(no collision with the grinding wheel),slow forward(feed according to the required cutting speed),smooth repair and exit must be followed to ensure the service life of the roller.
The roller is made of high-strength diamond.This process makes the diamond content on the working surface very high and the impurities are few.This roller can achieve high precision without dressing.Therefore,there are more diamond particles per unit arer on the working surface of the roller,more cutting edges participting in dressing,more distributed grinding load,less wear,and better shape accuracy retention,which is conducive to extending the service life of the roller.
